# Configuration

`plugins/BetterGoPaint/config.yml` is written on first start and rewritten on every reload, so new keys and their comments appear automatically. A missing or invalid value is replaced by its default and reported once in the console; `/gopaint reload` applies changes without a restart. Materials use the names from the [Paper Material list](https://jd.papermc.io/paper/org/bukkit/Material.html).
